Paterno Admits Mistake

Michigan is No. 1 in Joe Paterno’s opinion, but not on his ballot in the USA Today/ESPN coaches poll.

The reason: the Penn State coach admitted that he didn’t cast his own vote in this week’s poll. After Michigan handed Paterno his worst home loss Saturday in State College, an aide to Paterno filed a ballot that had Florida State No. 1.
