Woman’s Death Called A Suicide

A 24-year-old woman found dead in the Spokane Valley earlier this week committed suicide, detectives said.

Investigators said Wednesday they found a suicide note written by the victim and learned she had called a funeral home recently asking about memorial services.

The woman’s body was found inside an apartment in the 11000 block of East Third about noon Monday.

Detectives treated the case as a suspicious death until they found the note.
