Division I Teams Ready To Get It Going

Three of the area’s four Division I men’s basketball programs kick off the regular season this weekend, with Washington State leading the way.

The Cougars open at 7 tonight with a Friel Court matchup against Central Washington. Gonzaga entertains Concordia University at Martin Centre in its season-opener Saturday night at 7, and Eastern Washington opens at home Sunday with a 1:05 p.m. Reese Court matchup against Sam Houston State.

In a women’s opener, Gonzaga entertains Simon Fraser at 7 tonight in Martin Centre. Also, Simon Fraser plays at EWU on Sunday in an exhibition after the men’s game. , DataTimes
