Pianist Celebrates Schubert, Brahms With Spokane String Quartet


The Spokane String Quartet and pianist James Edmonds opens the quartet’s 1997-98 season by celebrating the bicentennial of Franz Schubert’s birth and commemorating the centennial of Johannes Brahms’ death. The String Quartet will perform Schubert’s String Quartet No. 15 and Brahms’ Piano Quartet No. 3 in a concert Tuesday at 8 p.m. at The Met.
