Sex Offender Living In Rural Area

A convicted sex offender who authorities say is likely to re-offend is living near the Spokane-Lincoln county line.

James Anthony Peterschick, 38, has been convicted of assault, sexual intercourse without consent and communication with a minor for immoral purposes.

In 1989, he was sentenced to 15 years in a Montana prison for attacking a 17-year-old girl and forcing her to have sex, authorities said.

He was released earlier this year and is now living on South Carstens Road in western Spokane County, deputies said. , DataTimes
