Bicyclists Find Body In East Sinto Alley

Two bicyclists discovered a body in an alley south of the 2500 block of East Sinto on Sunday morning, according the Spokane Police department.

The victim was a white male in his late 20s. Police are treating it as a homicide, said Dick Cottam, department spokesman.

Police have a tentative identification of the victim, but will await an autopsy before releasing a name. Police also have a “person of interest” who they are seeking to interview, Cottam said.

Detectives also obtained a search warrant for a residence on the 2500 block of East Sinto in connection with the investigation, Cottam said.
