Police Say Death Possible Homicide

The death of an elderly man in Coeur d’Alene on Sunday night is being investigated as possible homicide by the city’s police.

Officers responded to a reported battery at 1138 N. First around 7:30 p.m. They found the man injured. He was taken to Kootenai Medical Center and died a short time later, according to the Coeur d’Alene Police Department.
