Annika Sorenstam has one last chance to make a statement when she tries to cap her sensational season with a sixth win in the season-ending LPGA Tour Championship, which begins today at the Desert Inn Country Club on the Las Vegas Strip.

Sorenstam hopes to keep her season money lead over defending champion Karrie Webb in the elite event, which is sponsored by the ITT Corp. and limited to the season’s top 30 money winners on the tour.
