Innovative Business Degree Ok’d

Washington State University regents approved a pilot program Friday to allow students to earn bachelor’s degrees in business administration via distance-education technology.

The College of Business and Economics will offer the program through Grays Harbor, Peninsula, Walla Walla and Skagit Valley community colleges beginning in January and later at learning centers serving several Indian reservations, officials said.

Eventually, the program is go statewide through 20 interactive learning sites at community colleges.
