Mr. And Mrs. Kerns Spokane

Melvin and Kaye Kerns, Spokane, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 9 with an open house at the Garland Avenue Alliance Church.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Kenneth and Rebecca Kerns, Coulee Dam; and Glenn and Christy Kerns, Mukilteo, Wash.

The Kerns were married Jan. 3, 1948, in Regina, Saskatchewan. They have two grandchildren.
