Come And Watch The Kids Perform

The Spokane Children’s Theatre kicks off its 52nd season with the beloved story of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” beginning Saturday and continuing through Oct. 25.

This is the Roald Dahl story made famous in the movie “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.” This is a non-musical adaptation by Richard George.

It features a cast of 29, ranging in age from 10 to adult. Damon Abdallah plays Willy Wonka, and Joshua Larson, 12, plays Charlie. The director is Joe Sullivan.

The show opens Saturday at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and continues Sunday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. It will continue Oct. 11, 18 and 25 at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.; and Oct. 12 and 19 at 7 p.m.

All performances are at the Spokane Civic Theatre, 1020 N. Howard. Tickets must be ordered in advance by calling 328-4886.
