Christine Silvernail, the 1993-94 West Coast Conference women’s basketball player of the year from Santa Clara University, was killed in a single-car accident Sunday morning outside Tacoma. She was 25. Silvernail was the sister of former Washington State volleyball star Sarah Silvernail.
