Salvadoran Dinner Offers Food And Fun

Burritos and rice, salad and salsa, music and raffle prizes all will be featured at the eighth annual Salvadoran Dinner, 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday in the parish hall of St. Ann’s Church, 2121 E. First.

The dinner, which is sponsored by the Central American committee of the Unitarian-Universalist Church and the Peace and Justice Action League of Spokane’s sister city committee, is raising money for the village of Ita Maura, El Salvador.

Profits will help the villagers of Ita Maura to secure water rights.

Prices are $25 per family, $8 for adults, $5 for teenagers, $3 for kids ages 5 to 12. Those ages 4 and younger eat for free.
