Burned Couple Still In Critical Condition

A vacationing Spokane couple, seriously burned in a Nashville, Tenn., explosion, remain in critical condition, relatives said Saturday.

Don and Irma Wilson, owners of an insurance firm on West Garland, were walking past a construction site when an electrical transformer exploded. The two were on a tour of the Southeast.

“Mom’s the worse of the two,” said their son, Randy Wilson of Spokane. “We’re hanging in there.

We’re dealing with it the best we can.”

The Wilsons, both 46, have lived in Spokane for 30 years. , DataTimes
