First Lady Gets High Marks In Poll
Most Americans approve of Hillary Rodham Clinton and her performance as first lady, a U.S. News & World Report poll suggests.
The rating - about two out of three respondents approved of her performance - was the first lady’s best since 1993 in a U.S. News & World Report poll.
Appearing in the magazine’s editions appearing on newsstands today, the poll showed 59 percent of registered voters have a favorable view of Clinton and 67 percent approve of the way she handles the position of first lady.
But the poll found voters evenly divided as to whether she should take a more traditional first lady role.
The U.S. News poll of 1,000 adults has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percent.
