Air Pollution Reports

A total of 160 air quality complaints were reported to the Spokane County Air Pollution Control Authority between September 15 and October 4. The greatest number of complaints, 94, were reported at Colbert Compost Facility.

September 15

Odors from compost were reported at Ecocycle at 11:47 a.m.

Visible emissions was reported at Inland Empire Paper Co. at 2:26 p.m.

September 16

Smoke/odors from a solid fuel burning device, such as a wood stove or fireplace were reported at 14222 N. Tormey Road at 10:55 a.m.

September 18

34 complaints of odors from compost were reported at Colbert Compost Facility at 1:30 p.m.

Open fire was reported at 2024 S. Whipple at 4:30 p.m.

September 19

Spray painting/odors was reported at 2417 N. Division at 2:55 p.m.

September 28

Smoke/odor from a solid fuel burning device, such as a wood stove or fireplace, was reported at 224 N. Long Road at 6:54 p.m.

September 29

Open fire was reported At 35424 N. ElkChattaroy Road at 1:30 p.m.

September 30

Smoke in the air was reported at Evergreen and McDonald at 1:02 a.m.

Smoke in the air was reported in Greenacres area at 7:53 a.m.

Smoke in the air was reported at Liberty Lake area at 8 a.m.

Smoke in the air was reported at Lacey and Mission at 8:30 a.m.

Smoke in the air was reported on South Hill at 8:56 a.m.

Smoke in the air was reported in Spokane area at 8:15, 9, 9:02, 9:04, 9:07, 9:15, 9:24, 9:40, 9:45, 9:47, 10:02, 10:17, 10:44, 10:50, 10:55, 10:56, 11, 11:05, 11:07, 11:15, 11:16, 11:18, 11:26, 11:30, 11:34 and 11:56 a.m, 12:01, 12:05, 12:20, 12:35, 1:05, 1:30, 3:50, 4 and 4:41 p.m.
