Domestic Violence Team Offers Open House
The new Regional Domestic Violence Team will have an open house from noon to 6 p.m. today on the second floor of the Monroe Court building, on the northwest corner of Monroe and Mallon.
The team, created through a federal grant, will spend 18 months working to help local agencies develop better ways to combat domestic violence.
It includes detectives from the police and sheriff’s departments, nine prosecuting attorneys and seven victim advocates from the YWCA, Spokane Sexual Assault Center and the county prosecutor’s office. , DataTimes
