Queen ‘Very Much’ Enjoys Trip To India

Queen Elizabeth II says everything was just lovely, thank you.

But back home, politicians complain her trip to India was a diplomatic misadventure - and Indians greeted the head of their former colonial ruler with picket signs as well as bouquets.

Buckingham Palace took an unprecedented step Friday, issuing a cheery royal postcard that insisted the queen “has very much appreciated the warmth of the welcome she has received throughout the tour, which she is enjoying very much.”
