Reardan’s Rally Pulls Out No. 6

Rhett Soliday threw a pair of touchdown passes in the fourth quarter Friday to rally B-11 top-ranked Reardan (6-0, 4-0) to a 35-15 Bi-County League win over Wilbur-Creston (5-1, 3-1) at Wilbur.

Soliday completed 11 of 22 for 179 yards. W-C held Reardan’s strong running game to 77 yards and led 15-14 after three quarters, but the Indians rallied through the air.

The Wildcats rushed for 96 yards and passed for 68. Reardan held Mike Samuels to 55 yards on 22 carries.

Joe Levens totaled nine catches for 169 yards for DeSales, last year’s state runner-up. Josh Taylor had 18 carries for 86 yards and Derek Teal three receptions for 145 yards for T-O. The Nighthawks led 14-7 at halftime.

Tim Miller had 97 rushing and receiving yards for Touchet, Tim Dickey passed for 112 and Alfredo Lomelli rushed for 43 before a third-quarter shoulder injury.
