Mr. And Mrs. Mattix Veradale

Del and Ruth Mattix, Veradale, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at Templin’s Resort in Post Falls from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday.

Hosts for the event will be their children and spouses: George and Pattie Mattix, Hinsdale, Ill., Terry and Diana Mattix, Raleigh, N.C., and Tom and Ruth Mattix, and Terry and Delanie Britton, all of Spokane.

The couple were married Oct. 25, 1947, in Spokane. They have nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
