WSU Awards Scholarships In Agriculture, Home Economics

Several Inland Northwest students received scholarships from Washington State University’s College of Agriculture and Home Economics.

The students, their parents and scholarships are:

Dana Erickson, daughter of Norman and Gloria Erickson, LaCrosse, Wash., a $2,000 Harvest States Foundation Scholarship and a Dean’s Merit Scholarship; Jaime Meenach, child of Harold and Robyn Meenach, Valleyford, a $1,000 Wittenbach Memorial Scholarship, a $1,000 Iris Kay Lloyd Memorial Scholarship and the Outstanding Freshman Scholar award; Kristina Kimbrough, daughter of Robert and Pamela Kimbrough, Spokane, a $1,200 Arnie and Marta Kegel Scholarship, a $500 Lindahl Memorial Scholarship and a Glenn Terrell Presidential Scholarship; Carrie Peterson, daughter of Edwina and Gayle Peterson, Spokane, a $750 Lindahl Memorial Scholarship and a $300 Vogel Washington State Crop Improvement Association Scholarship; and Scott Kruse, son of Richard and Beverly Kruse, Spokane, a $300 College of Agriculture and Home Economics Scholarship.

Susan McLellan, daughter of Daniel and Jane Bonogofski, Spokane, a $600 Mattie Pattison Paddock Memorial Scholarship, a $400 Etta Losee Reilly Home Economics Scholarship, and a $500 1997-98 Washington State University Alumni Leadership Award; Kristen Coles, daughter of Timothy Coles and Laurie Beauvais-Coles, Deer Park, a $2,000 Wittenbach Memorial Scholarship; Jennifer Simonson, daughter of Paul and Carol Simonson, Ritzville, Wash., a $2,000 Wittenbach Memorial Scholarship; Heidi Muat, daughter of Roger Muat, Spokane, and Margaret Muat, Liberty Lake, a $1,000 Etta Losee Reilly Home Economics Scholarship; and Todd Curtis, son of Bob and Lynn Curtis, Garfield, Wash., a $1,200 Arnie and Marta Kegel Scholarship and a $500 Frances Premo Memorial Scholarship.

Neva Crogan, daughter of George and Beverly Russell, Colfax, Wash., a $1,900 Margaret Nicholson Schafer Graduate Fellowship in human nutrition; Sheila Erickson, daughter of Robert and Ruth Erickson, Newport, Wash., a $1,000 Wittenbach Memorial Scholarship and a $1,000 Iris K. Lloyd Memorial Scholarship; Kady Honeychurch, daughter of Gary and Kelly Honeychurch, Veradale, a $2,000 Iris Kay Lloyd Memorial Scholarship and a Glenn Terrell Presidential Scholarship; Anhtrinh Nguyen, daughter of Kim Phan, Spokane, a $350 Marion Flood and J. Houston McCroskey Scholarship; and Teresa St. George, daughter of Irving and Prushia St. George, Cheney, a $500 Margaret E. Nelson and Grace A. Kembel Scholarship and a $500 Agnes E. Craig Home Economics Scholarship.

Sheri Babb, daughter of David and Kathleen Babb, Cheney, a $2,000 Harvest States Foundation Scholarship, a $350 Mrs. Frank Greeley Scholarship and a Glenn Terrell Distinguished Presidential Scholarship; and Patrick Kane, son of Patrick and Jennie Kane, Fairfield, a $750 Cenex Scholarship and a $250 Sigfred Theodore Hansen Scholarship.
