United Security Closes Bank Of Pullman Deal

From Staff And Wire Reports

Bank of Pullman now belongs to United Security Bancorporation.

Spokane-based United Security closed its previously announced purchase of Community Bancorporation, Bank of Pullman’s parent, at the close of business Monday.

The $11.3 million cash deal adds Bank of Pullman’s seven branches to 15 operated by two other United Security subsidiaries, United Security Bank and Home Security Bank.

Bank of Pullman will keep its name. The bank’s newest branch, in Moscow, also takes United Security across state lines into Idaho for the first time, President William ‘Bud’ Dashiell noted.

He said the deal will lift United Security’s assets to $340 million.
