UI’s Laurie Turner Leaves For New Post

Laurie Turner is leaving the University of Idaho athletic department to become Associate Athletic Director/Senior Women’s Administrator at Toledo.

Turner will work for Pete Liske, former Idaho A.D. who is in his second year as Toledo’s A.D.

Turner was Idaho’s director of academic athletic services and student development. She has been credited with helping the Vandals’ improved academic performance. Turner was Idaho’s women’s basketball coach from 1986-94 before being reassigned.
