The Los Angeles Lakers won their two-day preseason tournament in Inglewood, Calif., beating the Seattle SuperSonics 85-79.

The Washington Wizards finished third in the Great Western Shootout, beating the Atlanta Hawks.

Seattle’s Detlef Schrempf had 22 points and 10 rebounds.

The Sonics open the season Friday night at Portland.
