‘Star Wars’ Exhibit At Air And Space Museum

The Washington Post

Unsheathe your light sabers and saddle up the speederbikes, as the National Air and Space Museum presents 200 original props, models and costumes used to create the Star Wars film trilogy, in the exhibit “Star Wars: The Myth of Magic,” which opens at the museum on Oct. 31.

The exhibit, in the museum’s Flight and the Arts gallery, not only shows you Luke Skywalker’s famous light saber, but Han Solo frozen in carbonite, Princess Leia’s “slave-girl” costume, and articles belonging to Darth Vader, Yoda and Jabba the Hutt.

Free passes can be obtained at the National Air and Space Museum, which only will distribute same-day passes - four per person - beginning Oct. 31, on a first-come, first-served basis.

For telephone orders, call 1-800-529-2440.
