A new book on Frank Sinatra claims he spent the night with Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in 1975.
In “Sinatra: Behind the Legend,” celebrity biographer J. Randy Taraborrelli says Sinatra became fascinated with Onassis when she was first lady, and asked her to accompany him to the opening night of his concert with Ella Fitzgerald and Count Basie in September 1975.
After the show, they went to the “21” Club before retiring to Sinatra’s suite at the Waldorf. Sinatra’s friend, Jim Whiting, told Taraborrelli “they absolutely were intimate … That’s for sure, because Frank said so years later.”
But the book claims that Ethel Kennedy “worked Jacqueline into a fury” about Sinatra, saying he had supplied President Kennedy with women, and she vowed never to see him again.

Mariah Carey is none too pleased with the coverage of her social life since she split with her hubby, Sony Records president Tommy Mottola. “If you believe the tabloids, you’d think I was out with a different guy every night,” Carey tells Jet magazine. “I am not a promiscuous person. I might go out to dinner with someone. But I would not be in someone’s bed one night and someone else’s bed the next night.”
