Personal: Age 30 … student at Eastern Washington University studying education … works at Pratt Elementary as a teacher’s aide … has lived in Rockford for two years … grew up in the Valley … unmarried … enjoys downhill and water skiing and softball.

Education: Community College of the Air Force while in active duty … associate’s degree in liberal arts from Spokane Community College.

Last book read: “Call it Courage” by Armstrong Sperry, which he read to fifth graders.

Favorite book:”Where the Red Fern Grows” by Wilson Rawls.

Greatest accomplishment:Making it through the Air Force and going back to college.

Biggest regret:Not paying more attention in high school.

Person he most admires: His grandmother, because she was a good teacher, role model and tried to keep him focused on a good education.
