Eagles Clobber Tigers

Joey Phelps rushed for 141 yards on 12 carries and scored four touchdowns to lead the Falls Christian Eagles (4-5, 3-5 North Star League) past the visiting Mullan Tigers (0-8) in a non-league football game called in the third quarter Thursday because of the 45-point mercy rule.

Falls Christian’s Aaron Mitson piled up 185 yards on 11 rushes and scored a touchdown. Junior quarterback Jared Bligh has now passed for a school-record 1,524 yards.
