Diana’s Sons Named As Beneficiaries

Compiled From Wire Services

Prince William and Prince Harry will be the main beneficiaries of Princess Diana’s will, newspapers reported Tuesday.

The Evening Standard, which gave no authoritative source, said Diana’s estate may be worth up to $65 million, $27 million of which would have come from her 1996 divorce settlement with Prince Charles.

The total size of the will is likely to be made public within six months, reported The Times of London, although details of her beneficiaries will not be made public.

The Times said the multimillion-dollar collection of jewelry handed to the princess by Queen Elizabeth II and Elizabeth the Queen Mother on her engagement and marriage would return to the royal family. These included gems worn by Queen Mary, including a diamond and pearl tiara, and jewelry once owned by Queen Alexandra.
