The Spokesman-Review’s editorial board has interviewed candidates for mayor of Spokane and for the first time, the public can watch these interviews on cable television.

Taped this week by TVW, the Washington state public affairs television network, the interviews will air tonight at 7 p.m. and again at 11 p.m. and on Saturday at 10 p.m. Interested viewers should tune to cable channel 5 in Spokane.

Four of the five mayoral candidates appeared for the interviews, which are a part of the editorial board’s research as it determines whom to endorse before the Sept. 16 primary election. Candidate David Howell did not attend.
