Senior Program Registration Begins

Registration for the Seniors Program through the Community Colleges of Spokane begins next week at senior centers in the area.

The classes give seniors a way to exercise their bodies and their minds at a cost of $5 to $30 a class.

Some of the topics are computers, art, history, literature, music, philosophy and books.

A wide range of fitness classes are offered.

Classes are held at senior centers and other neighborhood locations.

They are arranged through the college’s Institute of Extended Learning.

Here are the registration locations and times:

South Hill Senior Center, Sept. 9, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Corbin Center, today, 10 a.m. to noon.

Hillyard Senior Center, Sept. 8 and 10, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., both days.

Valley Senior Center, Sept. 9, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Sinto Senior Center, Sept. 10, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
