Clearwater River Campground Closes

Washington Creek campground, located 75 miles northeast of Orofino along the North Fork Clearwater River, closed Monday for the season.

The early closure is because of construction scheduled for the campground’s water lines.

Other campgrounds along the river will remain open, including Aquarius, Noe Creek, Hidden Creek and Kelly Forks.
