Peppy Pretzels

A couple of Christmases ago, Lora Poira’s mother suggested dipping pretzels in huckleberry-flavored coating instead of chocolate for a holiday treat.

Now, the salty/sweet snacks are one of the more popular products made by Poira’s family business, Sleeping Bear Ranch in Priest River.

But you might think twice about serving them with beer - unless it’s one of those fruit beers, perhaps.
