Idaho Coffee Maker Plans Stock Offering

From Staff And Wire Reports

Boise-based White Cloud Mountain Co., maker of gourmet coffee, said it will start an Idaho public stock offering to gain markets in the West, Midwest and Southeast.

The company currently sells to Albertson’s grocery stores in central and southern Idaho and is growing in the Midwestern market, officials said.

White Cloud registered 500,000 shares of common stock, at $6 a share. Minimum investment is $1,200, and the offer is open to Idaho residents.

The company made its first public offering four years ago, when it had $800,000 in total sales. This year the gourmet coffee company expects $7 million in total sales, said Chairman Jerome Eberherter.

The company, which employs 60, plans to pay off debts, buy a new roaster and increase its roasting facilities.
