Four Injured In Head-On Crash

A head-on crash just southwest of Kettle Falls, Wash., sent four people to hospitals Saturday night, according to the Stevens County Sheriff’s Department.

The crash occurred on state Highway 25 just before 7 p.m. The cause is being investigated by the Washington State Patrol.

One victim, a 17-year-old male, was flown to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane with possible head injuries. Three others were taken to Mount Carmel Hospital in Colville, Wash., by ambulance.

The injured included a 7-year-old boy and a 12-year-old boy, who were listed in satisfactory condition Saturday night. One of the children suffered a broken leg, according to hospital officials, but information about additional injuries was not available. An adult male was in good condition with minor injuries.
