Land Panel Plans Meeting In Sandpoint

The Federal Lands Task Force will meet in Sandpoint Sept. 23 and 24.

The task force was appointed by the state Board of Land, in part to study ways Idaho could manage the federal lands in the state.

The task force will tour state and federal lands in the Priest Lake area Sept. 23. People wanting to participate in the tour should call Ron Litz at (208) 769-1525 for details. The Task Force then will meet at the Edgewater Inn in Sandpoint on Sept. 24 beginning at 8 a.m.
