Marjorie Hite Post Falls
Memorial service for Marjorie Hite, 72, will be at 1 p.m. today at Community Presbyterian Church in Post Falls. English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hite, who was born in Alberta, died Tuesday.
She moved to Post Falls 65 years ago from Alberta and graduated from Post Falls High School in 1943.
Mrs. Hite was a member of Community Presbyterian Church and Carnation Rebekah Lodge No. 95, where she was a past noble grand and held many other offices.
She was also a member of the Post Falls Eagles Auxiliary.
Her husband, Ralph, died in 1993.
Survivors include a son, Frederick Hite of Post Falls; and a sister, Frances Mouser of Post Falls.

Evelyn Cozzetto Spokane
Vigil service for Evelyn Mary Cozzetto, 86, will be at 7:30 p.m. today at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South is in charge of the arrangements.
A lifetime Spokane resident, Mrs. Cozzetto died Sunday.
She graduated from Lewis and Clark High School.
Mrs. Cozzetto worked for True Blue Baking Co. and was the head buyer for Sears for several years.
Her husband, Alfred Cozzetto, died in 1961.
She is survived by five nephews, Wayne Pierce, Joe, Frank and Gerald Cozzetto and Dave Naccarato; and four nieces, Joan Pelkie, Donna Berg, Judy Graham and Michele Naccarato.

Dorothy Muncey Spokane
Graveside service for Dorothy R. Muncey, 93, will be at 11 a.m. today at Farmington (Wash.) Cemetery. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Farmington, Mrs. Muncey died Saturday.
She graduated in 1922 from North Central High School.
Mrs. Muncey was a homemaker and was a member of Northview Bible Church, White Rose Chapter 230 Order of the Eastern Star and Ruth Washington Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Willis; a son, Willis Muncey Jr. of Albuquerque, N.M.; a daughter, Lavere Shurtleff of Sacramento, Calif.; a brother, Albert Leonard of Farmington; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Martha Sauer Spokane
Memorial service for Martha S. Sauer, 89, is set for 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South.
Mrs. Sauer, who was born on a farm near Lind, Wash., died Monday.
She had lived in Spokane since 1953 and worked as a child-care giver.
She was a member of the Philadelphia Congregational Church of Ritzville.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Union Gospel Mission.
Ana Hayashi Spokane
Service for Ana Hayashi, 75, will be at 7 p.m. today at Highland Park United Methodist Church. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South is in charge of the arrangements.
Ms. Hayashi, a lifetime resident of Spokane, died Sunday.
She was a graduate of Lewis and Clark High School and Keating Business College.
She worked for Marshall Printing as a business manager for many years until her retirement.
Her memberships included the Elks Lodge and Zonta. She also was a volunteer for the Economic Development Council.
She is survived by two sisters, Nino Hayashi and Mara Mihara, both of Spokane.
Marie Gerlitz Colfax, Wash.
Service for Marie Gerlitz, 72, is planned for 1:30 p.m. Friday at Endicott (Wash.) Congregational Church. Burial will follow at Endicott Cemetery. Bruning Funeral Home in Colfax is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Gerlitz, who was born in Endicott, died Monday.
She graduated in 1942 from Colfax High School.
In 1944 she married Howard Gerlitz in Colfax. They moved to the Endicott area and farmed.
Mrs. Gerlitz moved back to Colfax in 1994. She was a member of Endicott Congregational Church.
Her husband died in 1993.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Faires of Mountlake Terrace, Wash., and Jane Gerlitz of Moses Lake; two brothers, Harry Wagner of Wenatchee and Richard Wagner of Lewiston; five sisters, Evelyn Biedel of Pasco, Stella McConnell of Long Beach, Calif., Betty Morgan of Gilford, Mont., Tillie Llewellyn of Lewiston and Caroline McManus of Fair Oaks, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

John ‘Jack’ Michaud Spokane
Funeral Mass for John J. “Jack” Michaud, 71, was Saturday at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Burial was Monday at Spring Canyon Cemetery in Grand Coulee, Wash. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Michaud, who was born St. Paul, Minn., died Wednesday.
He graduated in 1944 from Lake Roosevelt High School.
In 1959 he married Florence Davis.
Mr. Michaud had worked as a truck driver since high school. He was employed by Black Line Asphalt and later James J. Williams Trucking, Inc.
In 1983, he went into partnership and purchased James J. Williams Trucking Inc., of Spokane, which he operated until 1996.
He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish and Washington State Trucking Association.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, John Michaud of Kent, Wash., and David Michaud of Spokane; three daughters, Mary Beth Aubertin of Lewiston, Ann Holt of Honolulu and Patricia Michaud of Seattle; a sister, Pat Fairbanks of Sacramento, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Mayme Holm Coeur d’Alene
Service for Mayme A. Holm, 100, will be at 11 a.m. today at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene. Burial will be at Forest Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene. Mrs. Holm, who was born in Wisconsin, died Monday.
She homesteaded in Montana and in 1937 moved to Coeur d’Alene, where she worked at the Brunswick Cafe for several years.
Mrs. Holm was a homemaker, a member of the Coeur d’Alene Eagles Auxiliary and was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Two husbands preceded her in death: Oral Miller in 1972 and Mel Holm in 1981.
Survivors include a son, Norman Miller of Spokane; a daughter, Lenola Pomeroy of Wisconsin; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Wayne Boulac Spokane
Memorial service for Wayne G. Boulac, 44, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Boulac, a lifetime Spokane resident, died Sunday.
He graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1971 and had worked part time for The Spokesman-Review as a mailroom trucker inserter.
Survivors include his father, Roland Boulac of Spokane; a brother, Tom Boulac of Portland; two sisters, Elaine Grant and Carol Parrott, both of Portland; and a stepbrother, Robert Bro, and a stepsister, Bonnie Abernethy, both of Spokane.
Jack Reynolds Colfax
Graveside service for Jack Reynolds, 70, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Colfax Cemetery. Bruning Funeral Home in Colfax is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Reynolds, a lifetime resident of Colfax, died Tuesday.
He joined the Marine Corps in 1943 and was discharged at the end of World War II.
In 1946 he married Almeda “Mickey” Walker in Coeur d’Alene.
After the war he returned to Colfax and worked for his father as an independent contractor before he started Colfax Concrete Block Co. in the late 1940s.
In the early 1950s he co-owned a television and repair business called Bill’s TV. He operated the business until the mid 1970s and then joined the D&B Service Center assisting in television and appliance repair.
Mr. Reynolds retired in 1989.
He was a member of the Colfax Kiwanis Club and served on the Colfax Parks and Planning boards and Youth League Board.
He is survived by his wife; four sons, Jack Reynolds of Bremerton, and Joe, Bob and Dennis Reynolds, all of Colfax; a daughter, Kathy Kennedy of Everett; a sister, Mildred Sarver of Colfax; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Beverly (Wollitz) Hertenstein Coulee City, Wash.
Service for Beverly Jean (Wollitz) Hertenstein, 62, was last Thursday at Strate Funeral Home in Grand Coulee, Wash. Burial was at Spring Canyon Cemetery in Grand Coulee.
Mrs. Hertenstein, who was born in Wadena County, Minn., died Sept. 7.
She graduated in 1953 from high school in Morris, Minn. She later received her nursing degree in Montana.
Mrs. Hertenstein worked as a registered nurse for many years in Montana and Washington. She worked at the Coulee Community Hospital for several years.
Her memberships included the Grand Coulee Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; four sons, Rodney Caldwell of Singapore, and Lendall, Curtis and Duane Caldwell, all of Fresno, Calif.; three daughters, Gwen Caldwell of Akeley, Minn., Rhonda Bergtoll of Saco, Mont., and Michelle Kruse of Kalamazoo, Mich.; four stepsons, Jim Werner of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Dean Werner of Kalispell, Mont., Bill Hertenstein Jr. of Benton City, Wash., and Randy Hertenstein of Coulee Dam; two stepdaughters, Betty Skjerva of West Richland, Wash., and Terri Bowman of Grand Coulee; 28 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Robert Smith Sacramento, Calif.
No service will be held for Robert W. “Bob” Smith, 51. Russ Monroe’s Village Chapel in Fair Oaks, Calif. is in charge of arrangements and cremation.
Mr. Smith, who was born in Hutchinson, Kan., died Sept. 1.
As a child, he moved to the Spokane area.
He joined the Navy in 1963 and served in the Vietnam War.
Mr. Smith was the owner of Freezerman Refrigeration in Spokane until 1984, when he moved to Sacramento.
In Sacramento he worked in various heating and air conditioning companies. He retired from McDonald Air and Heating.
Survivors include his companion, Barbara Kerwood of Sacramento; a daughter, Tami, and a son, Mark, both of New Mexico; his mother and stepfather, Lorraine and Shirl Wilson, of Spokane; two brothers, Rick Wyer of Colton, Calif., and Merle Wyer of Spokane; and five grandchildren.
James Smith Spokane
Graveside service for James Edward Smith, 56, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Fairmount Memorial Park. Hazen and & Jaeger Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A lifetime resident of Spokane, Mr. Smith died Tuesday.
He is survived by his father, Edward Smith of Spokane; and two sisters, Roberta Allen of Spokane and Kathryn Guarisco of Coeur d’Alene.
