Planning Official To Discuss Moran

The Moran Prairie Neighborhood Association is holding its monthly meeting tonight at 7 p.m. in the Moran Prairie Grange Hall at 61st Avenue and the Palouse Highway.

John Mercer, the county’s long-range planning director, will be at the meeting to take questions from residents about the future of the Moran Prairie area and efforts by the city and county to plan future land-use decisions.

Residents will also get a chance to talk about proposals for two new shopping centers on Regal Street and county efforts to control storm-water flooding.
