Bello Tapped For Movie Role

Maria Bello, a series regular on “ER,” has landed the female lead opposite Mel Gibson in Icon Prods.’ “Parker,” which rolls in Chicago next week.

Gibson will play Parker, a man seeking revenge on his wife and former partner, both of whom have betrayed him.

Bello will play Rosie, an old acquaintance who teams up with Parker and ultimately becomes the only person he can trust.

Others in the cast include David Paymer, Gregg Henry, William Devane and James Coburn.

Bello recently completed production on the film “Permanent Midnight” opposite Ben Stiller and Elizabeth Hurley for LIVE Entertainment, which was directed by David Veloz and based on Jerry Stahl’s autobiographical novel.

Catching up with Robbins

Tim Robbins is in negotiations to star in Lakeshore Entertainment and Samuelson Prods.’ contemporary thriller “Arlington Road.”

The film is about a guy who begins to suspect his next-door neighbor is a terrorist and decides to take matters into his own hands.
