Reporter Seymour Hersh thought he had hard proof that former President John F. Kennedy paid Marilyn Monroe to keep silent about their alleged affair. With experts’ advice, however, he’s now changed his mind, deleting the chapter about Kennedy and Monroe in his upcoming expose on Kennedy, “The Dark Side of Camelot.” One expert, Jerry Richards, a former document examiner for the FBI, said several of the documents are “blatant forgeries.” In its “20/20” news program Thursday, ABC will describe the document investigation.
