Pullman Rolls, 42-0

Pullman played the perfect first half Friday while slowing down Medical Lake 42-0 in a Greater Northern League opener at Pullman.

Aaron Linehan completed 7 of 10 passes for 165 yards and three touchdowns, then rested in the second half because the Greyhounds (2-1, 1-1) already had their 42-0 lead.

Nate Brown added two receptions for 75 yards and Leonel Dorvil rushed for 119 as Pullman piled up 292 first-half yards.

Pullman’s bench was limited to 3 yards of offense in the second half, but the Cardinals (2-1, 0-1) passed for minus-7 during the same stretch.

Medical Lake’s Aaron Carr rushed for 81 yards.

Erik Eide’s fourth-quarter interception preserved the Stags’ shutout of the visiting Indians (1-2, 0-1).

DP (1-2, 1-0) drove 85 yards in 14 plays for its TD. Brad Martin completed 10 of 18 for 110 yards without an interception, Gabe Holmes had 19 carries for 75 yards, and Josh Kelly had four sacks for the Stags.

Jason Christen had five receptions for 78 yards, and Sean Wheeler and Mike Mortlock combined for 197 yards on 33 carries as the Eagles (2-1, 1-0) defeated the visiting Grizzlies (0-3, 0-1) at Nine Mile Falls.

Lakeside’s Mike Rowse completed 7 of 15 for 93 yards. Eli Marsh was 13 of 24 for 93 yards, and Kyle Keihn picked up 50 yards on 20 carries for Newport.
