Mr. And Mrs. Thompson Mead

Don and Gwen Thompson, Mead, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a luncheon and reception from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Shenandoah Forest Park Club House in Mead.

The event, five months in advance of the actual anniversary date, will be hosted by their children and spouses: David and Patty Thompson, Bothell, Wash.; and Bob and Kathy Headstrom, Liberty Lake. They are also the parents of the late Douglas Thompson.

The Thompsons were married Jan. 15, 1948, in Spokane. They have five grandchildren.
