Killarney Boat Launch To Open Temporarily

The Killarney Lake boat launch will be opened temporarily Saturday and Sunday just for day-time use.

The Bureau of Land Management closed the boat ramp this month for construction on the parking lot. The agency opened the boat launch because it’s opening weekend for waterfowl hunting. No overnight camping is allowed.

The site will close again Monday and stay closed until about Oct. 15, when construction is scheduled to be finished. The BLM asks that hunters not disturb the survey stakes. , DataTimes
