Danny Sprinkle scored a game-high 32 points as the Bobcats defeated the Bengals and kept Montana State rolling toward a conference title. … Andy Jensen scored 19 points and Damien Baskerville added 13 as the Weber State Wildcats rolled over the Hornets and kept their postseason hopes alive. … Northern Arizona and Portland State both got wins to stay close to league-leader Montana State. Northern Arizona travels to Montana State in a key matchup Thursday night.

Chivo Anderson and Dionn Holton each scored 16 points for the University of Portland in a 69-62 win over the University of San Francisco (12-8, 3-5). The Pilots (13-7, 6-2) won their sixth straight home game and their sixth in the last seven games. The win put Portland in a first-place WCC tie with Gonzaga, which defeated Santa Clara 78-73…. David Sivulich scored a season-high 29 points and Eric Schraeder had 23 points and 10 rebounds as St. Mary’s of California beat Loyola Marymount 99-81… . Pepperdine, with its win at San Diego, stayed in the title hunt.

New Mexico State point guard Donminic Ellison scored 22 points to help the Aggies defeat Utah State. Ellison shot 7-8 from the foul line in the last 2:20 of the game to snap Utah State’s 7-game winning streak. Utah State suffered its first Big West Eastern Conference defeat this season. … Michael Olowokandi scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds and Adam Jacobsen had 14 points and five assists as Pacific rolled past Long Beach State. The Tigers took command by scoring 12 straight points to take a 23-7 lead over the 49ers midway through the first half. Andrew Betts led Long Beach with 15 points. Betts, a 7-foot-1, 250-pounder from Ipstock, England, was averaging 19.3 points and 9.4 rebounds before the game. Olowokandi, a 7-1, 250-pounder from London, brought a 22.4-point scoring average and an 11.6 rebounding average into the game.
