Four Arrested After Robbery

From Staff And Wire Reports

Two juveniles and two adults were arrested in connection with an armed robbery of a Domino’s Pizza on 3031 E. Mission early Sunday.

At about 1:15 a.m., two men ran into the restaurant, displayed handguns, demanded money and threatened to kill one of the three employees if he didn’t open the store’s safe, employees told Spokane police.

After being told the safe was time-activated, the robbers took a bank bag and ran from the business.

Shortly after the robbery, an officer spotted four young men shedding their clothes in a car on Mission about two miles from Domino’s, a police spokesman said.

A search of the car turned up a bank bag and cash, two loaded handguns and clothing similar to what was worn by the robbers, police said.

Two juvenile boys, 15 and 16 years old, were arrested, as was John Morales, 20, of Bridgeport, Wash., and Alejandro Sanchez, 19, of Spokane, according to police.

All four were booked on first-degree robbery. , DataTimes
