In The O.J. Limelight

NBC has hired O.J. Simpson prosecutor Marcia Clark, above, as a legal analyst. She will provide commentary on legal cases for NBC and cable offshoot MSNBC, as well as serve as an occasional guest host on CNBC prime-time programs, the network said Thursday. Clark left the Los Angeles district attorney’s office after Simpson was acquitted of double murder in October 1995. She wrote a book on the trial but failed to develop a syndicated legal show of her own. Johnnie Cochran Jr., Simpson’s lead defense attorney, is host of a program on Court TV.
