Jordan Sidelined But G-Prep Wins

GSL girls

The circumstances were present for an upset but North Central still fell to Gonzaga Prep 45-36 Tuesday night.

Paulette Jordan, the leading scorer for the Bullpups (6-10, 6-8), was on her way to the Greater Spokane League game at NC when her car was hit by a truck.

She was taken to the emergency room by ambulance but was on the bench by gametime, suffering from a stiff neck that makes her day-to-day.

The Indians (2-13, 2-12) stayed close but were doomed by atrocious free-throw shooting. NC hit just 8 of 24 foul shots. Alice Sterns scored 17 points and had 15 rebounds for NC.
