Next week, eight teens from Spokane and North Idaho will be in the national spotlight.

When React magazine lands on doorsteps and in classrooms across the country, readers will see a few faces from around here and read what these teens have to say about competition and how it affects their lives.

The teens, Jessie Quintero and Atiya Palmer from Medical Lake High School; Patrice Williamson and Jeff Cochran from Rogers; Jarrod Lowe and Jason Anderson from Shadle Park; Marques Johnson from North Central and Erica Loveless from Sandpoint met with a react writer at The Spokesman-Review offices and shared their views for the Feb. 16-22 “react on the road” installment.

The students answer questions such as: Who is more competitive, boys or girls? Is competition good? Can you be too young to compete? and When are you most competitive?

Copies of the Feb. 16-22 react magazine will be available at Spokesman-Review offices next week.
