Lakeland Junior High Chooses January Students

Lakeland Junior High has chosen the January students of the month.

Tommy Basenberg, ninth grader and son of Carle and Debbie Basenberg of Rathdrum.

Joy Bachmeier, eighth grader and daughter of Jack and Sara Bachmeier of Post Falls.

Richard Lane, seventh grader and son of David and Paula Miller of Rathdrum.

Students are chosen based on kindness toward others, willingness to learn, interpersonal skills and activities and receive a Lakeland Hawks sweatshirt donated by local businesses.

David Gerber, DVM, of Coeur d’Alene, and Sue Bosted, DVM, of Heyburn, were recently installed as president and president-elect, respectively, by the Idaho Veterinary Medical Association (IVMA).

IVMA officers are volunteers and are credited for being the lifeblood of the organization and for their dedication to the profession, clients and future of veterinary medicine.
