From Staff Reports

A man was robbed at knifepoint in north Spokane late Tuesday, police said.

The victim was walking near Market and Cleveland at about 10 p.m. when he was approached by a man who asked for a cigarette, police said.

Police said the man pulled out a 6-inch knife, held it to the victim’s stomach and demanded money. The victim gave him an undisclosed amount of cash, and the robber ran west toward Market.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, about 6 feet 4 inches tall, 190 pounds, with blond, crew-cut hair.
